The Santaquin City Police Department offers the following Awareness and Education programs:

Crime Reports

 

Ride-Along Program

Individuals may ride along with an officer for part of his or her shift. Those wishing to participate in this program must be 18 years old or older and a student involved in the study of law enforcement or quasi law enforcement. Interested persons must come to the office and complete a form and provide a copy of their driver’s license. A background check will be completed before the ride-along is scheduled.

Citizens Academy

The Santaquin Police Department takes pride in our community and understands the importance of establishing and maintaining community partnerships between the police department and the individuals and organizations we are committed to serving. We strongly believe the public should play a vital role in prioritizing and dealing with public safety. Police can rarely solve public safety problems alone; therefore, the goal of Santaquin Police Department is to develop interactive partnerships with citizens to develop solution to problems and increase trust in our officers.

Station Tours

Tours of the Police Department and are offered to groups. Visitors will be shown the departments and be given insights on how the department works. Please schedule an appointment by calling 801-754-1070.
