Recorder's Office
The City Recorder's office is located at 275 West Main Street. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., excluding national and state holidays.
The City Recorder is appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council. The City Recorder is responsible for maintaining records of all public meeting minutes, agendas, ordinances, and resolutions, and responding to requests for records. The City Recorder is also responsible for administering municipal elections.
