Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Strength & Conditioning: In this class, we will be building our fitness in strength and stamina. We will use different modalities and multifunctional movements to prepare you for all the things life will throw at you. This is a perfect class for cross-training. You will get a taste of everything, through challenging strength sessions as well as high intensity interval training or metabolic conditioning. We will lift heavy, breathe hard, run fast, and yes... do burpees.

Tabata HIIT: In this class you will have a structure Tabata class incorporating intervals of both cardio and muscle. This class is high intensity with short rigid defined workouts.

Strong: This class combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometrics training moves synced to music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Music is the ultimate motivator! Moving in sync with muisc makes you consistently push yourself past your limits and meet your goals faster. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping to push you through every move.

Pilates: Mat Pilates is a mind and body connection. It is a great way to tone the entire body with low impact. We will work on Flexibility, precision, thoracic breathing as well as endurance throughout the class. Pilates is all about that deep core which aids in great posture. There will be an emphasis on one muscle group in each class, but the whole body will still be worked.

Low Impact Cardio & Strength: This fun workout includes strength and conditioning training to the beat of the music at a lower impact so you can protect those joints or heal those injuries. Ideal for those just starting out in their fitness journey.

High Fitness: This fitness style alternates between cardio peaks and toning tracks that will take your heart rate to the sky and strength to the next level.

Zumba/Strength: Take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party! You'll get a total workout, combining all elements of fitness-cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and boosted energy.

Barre: Barre incorporates Pilates, ballet, and strength training techniques for an intense low impact workout that tones and strengthens the whole body.

YOGA: Yoga involves physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation methods that can improve health, reduce stress, and increase strength and flexibility. It is a mind and body practice that aims to bring harmony and union between the mind and body.

Pre-natal Yoga: This style of yoga is designed for pregnant women to practice, regardless of their due date. The mixture of stretching, controlled breathing and mental focus offers a variety of benefits to expectant mothers. This form of yoga can also increase strength and flexibility in the muscles used during childbirth.

Sit & Be Fit: This is a cardiovascular exercise with core and strength training taught to fun music. The exercises are done sitting in a chair and or standing by the chair or barre working on balance and strength. This class gives you an aerobic, full body workout with the use of weights, bands and balls. This class is for the young and not so young.

Dance Cycle: Dance Cycle is a safe and fun way to move to the beat of the music while getting a great cycle workout in. We will incorporate rhythmic movements that keep the class upbeat and engaging.

Cycle Pump: Cycle Pump offers you 2 different ways to complete a workout. The first half of the class will be an intense cardio burn through endurance cycling and then off the bike for the last half for muscle pump, it’ll be a full body strength workout.

Power Cycle: Power cycle is in the name. We will power up through hill climbs, speed tracks and jumps. Simulating as closely as we can to riding the roads. Walk away feeling you have power in your lungs, and legs. You are sure to feel the burn.

Endurance Cycle: Endurance cycle will work through both your muscle endurance and your cardio endurance we cycling through fast paced and fun music.

Dance Fitness: REFIT® is a workout you can feel good about! With powerful moves and positive music, you'll discover an inspiring workout that changes your body, mind and soul. This cardio-focused class is effective and FUN -- perfect for beginners and challenging for fitness enthusiasts (which means it's a workout designed for everyBODY!)
