Emergency Alert Notification System

If we can’t reach you… we can’t notify, you!

What is the Emergency Alert Notification System?

The Emergency Alert system allows local officials to help protect lives and property by providing critical information to residents during emergencies, including dangerous situations. This is a free service to the residents of Santaquin. The system allows the Police and Fire Departments to quickly send out an emergency alert to residents in any affected geographic area in the city. Depending on the emergency, the alert may be sent to the entire city or selected areas within the city. The current database includes only traditional wire-line telephone (the “landline” phone you may have in your home). If you want the system to send alerts to other communication devices that you use, you will have to provide your contact information by logging into the system and sign up for alerts.

After you sign up for this free account, Santaquin City will be able to contact you by text message, cell phone, home phone, and/or email.

How does it work?

  • When Santaquin City issues a message about a potential safety hazard, concern, or important information, messages will be sent to all standard voice, text, and email communication devices, including listed landline phones. If you do not confirm receipt of the message, the Emergency Alert Notification System may continue trying to contact you until it receives a confirmation from you. Messages may be sent to the whole community or just a neighborhood affected by an event.
