23715657

Five hours from home, six annoying cousins, two cute guys, and an abandoned house.

All Morgan wants is to run with the cute guy from the track team. Not only is he acting interested in her, he’s the only one who knows her secret. Instead, her parents send to her to stay with her aunt for the summer. It doesn’t take long for more than her own secrets to unravel.  When tragedy strikes again, will she lose everything she loves?

JoLyn Brown, author of Run, will join us for the teen book club in December where we will talk about themes from the book, including misjudging others, secrets, and coping with stress and tragedy.

Sign-ups are available until the day before the Book Club, but participants will need to allow themselves time to read the book and come prepared for a group discussion. Books for the next month will be available at each meeting. Occasional rewards and treats will be given for attendance, projects and activities.

Contact the library at 801-754-3030 for more information.

The False Prince
by Jennifer A. Nielsen

Prince

In a discontented kingdom, civil war is brewing. To unify the divided people, Conner, a nobleman of the court, devises a cunning plan to find an impersonator of the king's long-lost son and install him as a puppet prince. Four orphans are recruited to compete for the role, including a defiant boy named Sage. Sage knows that Conner's motives are more than questionable, yet his life balances on a sword's point -- he must be chosen to play the prince or he will certainly be killed. But Sage's rivals have their own agendas as well.
