We are so very excited to welcome everyone back to our weekly activities.  Patrons come and participate in the following:  play cards, work on jigsaw puzzles, play pool, walk on treadmills, use our computer lab or simply visit, renew old friendships and create new ones.  Just a reminder that our weekly entertainment begins at 12:00 p.m., followed by a delicious home cooked meal at 12:30 p.m. We would like to invite and encourage any Seniors in the surrounding area to please feel free to come and participate with us at our center. 


 Calendar:
October 8th - Mountainland HEAT program representatives 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
October 10th - The Utah County Health Department will hold their annual Immunization Clinic at the Senior Center from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.  Please bring your immunization record and
insurance card.
3rd Thursday of each month - Utah Home Health does blood pressure checks, sugar and oxygen level checks and wellness checks. 



Please don't feel too "YOUNG" to check us out! Come spend a day with us!

Attention All Veterans!

Vets

Santaquin American Legion Auxiliary Post #84 will be honoring all Veterans at its annual Veterans Dinner on Friday, November 8th at 6 pm at the Santaquin Senior Citizen/Veterans Hall. 
The hall is located at 55 W 100 S in Santaquin. 
Handicap parking is available at the back of the building.

This year’s dinner will feature a home cooked meal of pork loin with gravy, mashed potatoes, a vegetable, salad, home made rolls and dessert.

Entertainment will feature Miss Santaquin, Devyn Olson and Magicologist, Ron Carrasco of Payson.  Our guest speaker is W.W.II Air Force Staff Sgt. Kenneth Porter of Delta, who will tell us about his war experiences.  Mr. Porter is now 93 years old and is one of the few surviving W.W.II Veterans. 

All veterans attend free of charge.  Partners and/or guests are $5.00 each. No children please.

You need not be a member of the American Legion nor have served during war time to attend.  All Veterans are welcome from Springville South to Nephi and West to Eureka. Rides will be provided to resident Santaquin Veterans, if requested.

The ladies are raffling a queen size (80”x90”) patriotic red, white and blue quilt.  Tickets will be available at the dinner or in advance by contacting the numbers below.

Senior Companion Program

Please Note: The Senior Companion Program is in need of seniors to help serve those with needs. Need to be 55 or older and available for about 15 hours a week with a monthly stipend and transportation & meal reimbursement plus other benefits. Please call 801-851-7767.
