The city dump is located at approximately 900 W 200 N. Hours of operation are November to February, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Saturday's ONLY) and March to October, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Saturday's ONLY). You must obtain a Dump Card at the City Office. The dump card entitles each household 12 free dumps per year. The dump does not accept household waste, plastic, paper or cardboard. The dump can no longer accept tires. For a fee, construction material and old furniture can be accepted. Finally, the dump will accept old appliances, provided that refrigerators/freezers display a tag certifying that they have been drained of cooling liquid (i.e. Freon). Please see the dump attendant for guidance on where each different type of item should be dropped off. |
