Santaquin Legion Auxiliary - American Legion Post #84

The Santaquin American Legion Auxiliary #84 would like to thank all of the generous people who
made our May Poppy Drive such a huge success including the many merchants who allowed us to place our poppy cans on their counters, the Santaquin Fire Department, the Miss Santaquin Royalty, and to you, our friends and neighbors, who gave so generously. Rest assured, the funds will be used wisely. If you know a veteran or an active duty family in need of help, please call Auxiliary President Janiel Deuel 801-309-2161.

Attention Ladies of Santaquin
Do you have a father, husband, son, brother or grandfather who is a veteran? Then you are eligible to join the American Legion Auxiliary. Your veteran need not be a member of the American Legion. They may be living or deceased. From now until the end of February 2018, we invite you to find out more about our programs and benefits and consider joining our group. We don't require a lot of your time and all of our efforts are for veterans and the promotion of patriotism. Please consider joining us. For information call Janeil Deuel at 801-609-2161 or Ramona Peterson at 801-754-3539. We look forward to meeting you.

American Legion Memorial Fundraiser

In March of 2017, the new wall of the Veteran's Memorial in the Santaquin Cemetery was vandalized. Several panels were seriously damaged. The Legion and Auxiliary is conducting a Memorial Day Fundraiser to help pay the cost of the repairs. If you would like to donate, any amount will be sincerely appreciated. You may donate by sending a check made out to the American Legion Post #84 to Ron Petersen, P.O. Box 844, Santaquin, Utah 84655. Please write 'Memorial' on your check. Questions? Call Ron, 801-754-3539 or Farrel, 801-754-3167.

Santaquin Auxiliary 'Thank You'

The Santaquin American Legion Auxiliary Post #84 offers their sincere thanks to the following businesses and individuals who so generously donated to the success of their Spring Fling fund raiser. The event was a great success, with auctions, the Crazy Hat Contest, and many Bingo and Raffle winners. All monies raised will be donated to Independencefund.org; which provides tools, therapies and resources to America's combat-wounded veterans. They are famous for their 'track' wheelchairs.
