Q: When I print, the right side of the page always get cut off. How can I fix that?

A: The Santaquin City Website is designed to fit in your browser window. This doesn't always fit on a single piece of paper. SO, words get cut off at the right.

To print the full page, use the "Print Page" link at the top right of the page to print the page. This will open a new window with the page you are looking at, but will not load the menu, header, or footer, allowing the page to print on a single sheet of paper.

Q: Why can't I see the whole menu? Why can't I see the Bookmark and Print links at the right?

A: The Santaquin City Website was designed to fit in a 800 x 600 screen resolution. That is the default Windows 2000, ME and XP screen setting.

If your screen resolution is set smaller than that, you might not be able to see all the text on the site. To change your screen resolution, go to My Computer > Control Panel > Display Settings > Settings, then use the slide bar to change your screen resolution.

Q: Why does clicking the "Refresh" button take me back to the Santaquin City Website Home page?

A: This is because the Santaquin City Website uses frames to display the sections of the website, like the menu, the title, the footer, etc. With frames, the URL you are looking at never changes. Instead, when you click a link, the new page loads in one of the frames. As a result, you will notice that the menu and title don't reload each time you load a new page. Instead, the new page is loaded in the middle frame. This helps the site become easier and faster to navigate.

You will also notice that clicking a link does not change the URL in the address bar, since you are not changing pages, you are only changing a frame.

As a result, when you click "Refresh", you are reloading the whole frame set again, and with that, the default pages for each frame are loaded. Thus, you see the home page again.

Q: Why does bookmarking a page always bookmark the home page?

A: This is because the Santaquin City Website uses frames to display the pages. See the question above on refreshing for more information on frames.

Bookmarking using your browser's bookmark function will always bookmark the frameset. When you reload your bookmark, you will reload the frame set with all the default pages in each frame. As a result, you will always see the home page.

To bookmark a page on the Santaquin City Website, use the "Bookmark Page" link at the top right of the page. This will create a bookmark that will bring you back to the page you are on.
