 About Diamond Rio:

Formed in 1989 in Nashville, TN the band consists of Gene Johnson (mandolin, tenor vocals), Jimmy Olander (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo), Brian Prout (drums), Marty Roe (lead vocal), Dan Truman (keyboards), and Dana Williams (bass guitar, baritone vocals).

Diamond Rio recently released I Made It, their tenth studio album. The title track was co-written by the band’s lead guitarist Jimmy Olander and features 11 new songs.  Produced by Olander and Mike Clute, I Made It is available on iTunes and www.diamondrio.com

Diamond Rio signed to Arista Records and in 1991 with the release of “Meet In The Middle” became the first country music group in history to reach No. 1 with a debut single.  The band is also known for their hits “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” “One More Day,” “Beautiful Mess,” “Unbelievable,” “In A Week or Two,” and more.  They released their first-ever autobiography, Beautiful Mess: The Story of Diamond Rio on Thomas Nelson in 2009.

The band known for playing every note on every album recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary, has sold more than 10 million albums, won a Grammy Award, a Dove Award, six Vocal Group of the Year wins (CMA and ACM), released two Greatest Hit albums, a live and Christmas project, earned five multi-week no. 1 singles,   22 Top 10 singles, three certified Platinum and five gold albums, released an autobiography – and with zero band member changes.  Known for their charity commitments including long-time spokespersons for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the band has raised over $1,000,000.00 for non-profits and received the Minnie Pearl Humanitarian Award.

Where can i buy tickets?

Santaquin City is the only official provider of ticketing for Santaquin Arena events.

Tickets for all events at the Santaquin Arena can be purchased online at www.santaquin.org. Fees will apply where applicable.

The Santaquin arena box office is open on day of show only. The box office is located on the North West corner of the Santaquin Recreation Center at the entrance of the Santaquin Arena. You can purchase tickets at the box office until tickets are gone. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets online before the event. Tickets will be emailed with the receipt and can be scanned directly from your phone or printed on paper. They cannot be scanned more than one time. The box office will open at 4:00pm and close at 9:00pm. Nobody will be allowed in the area before 4:00pm. Service fees apply.

Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards accepted. No checks.

Tickets required for children 3 years old and up.


where is will call?

Located at the Santaquin Arena box office. You will need to show a valid picture ID to pick up any tickets. There will be no exceptions to this rule.


Where is Parking?

From I-15, drive West on Main Street until you see parking signs located at 200 West. Officers and parking staff will guide you where to go from there. Those that want to drop off attendees: the LDS Church located at 45 South 500 West is recommended. There will be no through traffic permitted.

Parking lots open at 4:00pm, day of show. Gates to the seating area normally open 1 hour before the show time. Due to fire ordinances, there can be no open flame cooking on Santaquin City or Nebo School District property (aka parking lots). The local container ordinances forbid the consumption of alcoholic beverages while on the grounds of Santaquin City or Nebo School District property. This will be strongly enforced. Santaquin City police will be observing all activity in the parking lots. No tailgating. No loitering.

Overnight parking or camping is not allowed.


what items are restricted?

The following items are prohibited: inflatable chairs, backpacks, fireworks, recording devices, photographic devices, video recorders, lawn chair (please see “What is allowed in the lawn area?” for additional info), strollers, food and beverages, glass, cans, plastic bottles or any containers, coolers, umbrellas, weapons, wallet chains, spiked bracelets and belts, drugs.


what is allowed in the lawn area?

Blankets are welcome.


Chairs with metal or wood frames.

Chairs with legs.


are there concessions & Atms?

Santaquin Arena provides a variety of food and beverages (nonalcoholic) that can be purchased on site. It is recommended to bring cash, but vendors will likely accept credit cards.

There are ATMs at local banks located on Main Street on your way to the arena. Plan accordingly before entering the parking area.


what about local accommodations?

Look online for hotels in the Payson, Spanish Fork and Springville area. The closest hotel is Quality Inn in Payson, located 8 miles away.

Camping is not allowed on Santaquin City or Nebo School District property. Contact www.koa.com for nearest camp facilities.


is there parking for people with special needs?

Disabled parking spaces are available close to the box office. A valid disability-parking permit is required, and we be verified. Available until gone.

how is seating organized?

For events with seating on the Santaquin Arena floor, there are approximately 2,000 lawn seats, and 2,500 reserved seats on the arena floor. Our award winning RMPRA rodeo seats approximately 4,000 lawn seats.

Tickets will be emailed with your receipt. It is advised that each person take a screenshot picture of their tickets so they are easily accessible. For and assigned seats, the number will be on the ticket. General admission tickets will get you into the section you purchased the ticket for. The best seats will likely go first. Assigned seating will become GA one week prior to the event.

The lawn tickets will all be general admission. Please see “What is allowed in the lawn area?” for additional info. No reserved seating. All blankets or items reserving seats will be removed and placed by the gate prior to the gates opening.


what if I don't want to drive to the arena?

There is not mass transportation to the Arena. There is a UTA bus stop located within walking distance of the Arena. For a bus schedule visit www.rideuta.com. Uber is an option for those seeking a more flexible schedule. For additional info about Uber services visit www.uber.com. Drop off at the LDS Church located at 45 South 500 West is recommended. There will be no through traffic permitted.


is there re-entry?

There is no re-entry once you exit the venue.


what do I do about lost and found items?

Lost and found items will be held at the Santaquin City Police Department until claimed. Please call 801-754-1070 to verify items lost.


can i bring a cooler?
