Building and Safety Division

The building division ensures that the construction of buildings, structures and infrastructure meet health and safety requirements in Santaquin City. The building division reviews residential and commercial building plans for compliance with approved international building codes and city standards. The chief building official inspects all buildings and structures. The infrastructure inspector ensures that all infrastructure improvements are installed to city standards and codes.

For single family home applications, please fill out and submit all the forms listed below with your plans.

For Multi-Family Dwellings, Additions, Remodels, and Repair Construction, please fill out and submit the building permit application form with your plans.

Current Development Projects

Subdivisions

Summit Ridge Development was annexed in 2002 at the south end of Santaquin. It includes over 3500 residential homes ranging from high density multi-family to estate lots. So far, a little more than 400 lots have been platted. Over 1 Million square feet of retail, office, and light manufacturing type uses are planned near the future commuter rail station. Primary builders working in this development include Salisbury Homes, Arrive Homes, Ivory Homes, and several custom home builders.

North Orchards was annexed in 2004 at the north end of Santaquin. Originally planned to have over 1500 residential homes, the area is now expected to include the future Santaquin High School and an elementary which will be open for the fall 2018 school year. Primary builders working in this development include Sierra Homes and other semi-custom home builders.

Foothill Village was annexed in 2004 near the southeast end of Santaquin. This development will have over 400 homes when completed. The primary builder for this development is Salisbury Homes.
